Upper Quartile in Africa
25 November 2011
Building on our successful track record in Eastern Europe, Iraq and Afghanistan, Upper Quartile has recently expanded its geographical footprint into Africa. This comes with our appointment to TradeMark East Africa’s Programme Evaluation Specialists Framework.
Over the next three years, Upper Quartile will assist TMEA with measuring the impact and effectiveness of its activities. We will also help develop the monitoring and evaluation capacity of the organisation and its partners, through the design and implementation of robust M&E systems.
This recent success comes off the back of a growing track record in Africa. Upper Quartile is currently providing market linkages and export development support to the Rwandan Development Board, a contract overseen by TMEA. And we’re also engaged in South Sudan, through an ongoing evaluation of an EU funded livelihoods programme on behalf of Mercy Corps.
Upper Quartile, and its global associate network, looks forward to working closely with our African clients in 2012. We anticipate that this marks the start of a long association with the continent’s economic development.
