Supporting the oil and construction industries in Iraq.

Upper Quartile and G4S Risk Management have joined forces to support the international oil industry and the construction industry in Iraq.    The support will provide four full-time business support staff in Iraq working alongside G4S assisting businesses as they build up and develop their presence in Iraq.

 

"All  staff have years of experience in working in Iraq and understand the personalities and systems, which is critical as we move into and through the contract awards and build-up following the first and second license round," explained Adrian Green, adding that all of this is further complicated by the elections in both the UK and Iraq.

 

Support staff will include Leanne Case based in Baghdad and Nilesh Mistry in Basra as of January, assisted by experienced local staff working alongside them.    This, combined with the massive reach of G4S as both a security and integrated services provider, will be a fantastic strength.

 

We will be able to help companies work alongside Iraqi partners, bid into contracts from an Iraqi base, recruit local staff and generally get off the ground more effectively, faster and more safely than they could manage on their own, said Nilesh Mistry.
