Ministry of Oil – Iraq

Upper Quartile were delighted to host seven senior officials from the Training and Development Directorate and Legal Directorate of the Ministry of Oil in Baghdad in Aberdeen at the end of March.

 

The Group spent time putting the finishing touches to a Skills Development Project that Upper Quartile have been managing as well as meeting with Academics and senior UK Government officials to talk about Change Management.  

 

We also met with Shell and BP and a number of Training and Service Providers to support the Ministry to building the professional skills and competency they need to manage the massive increase in the development of the oil and gas sector in Iraq.  

 

The project, ongoing since last Autumn, has been undertaken in conjunction with the UK Foreign Office and the Department for Energy and Climate Change.
