Iraq - Trade Missions

Upper Quartile have managed two trade missions of oil and gas service companies into Basra to meet with the South Oil Company, Umm Qasr port Officials, Iraqi Drilling Company and the Basra Investment Commission.

 

The first trip was run at the end of May with 4 businesses and the second in mid June with 3 oil and gas service companies.

 

“These are really the only cost-effective way of understanding the complexities of doing business in Iraq” said Gavin Jones  “.... this method allows an initial visit to be made into a difficult place and understand at first hand the magnitude of what is going on in the country”.   This is helped by the support facilities we have been running in Basra for almost 2 years now.

 

A third trip will be run in the Autumn.
